It have been 4 days since Sch offcially started. Had a wonderful experience throughout this 4 days. Every morning, I would wake up 2 hrs 15 mins before lesson time to prepare and leave. By doing this, I can avoid traffic jam and not being able to board a bus due to many ppl. 1st day of sch was introduction of all modules by my mentor. Most probably, I will major Networking & Security and Software Engineering in Yr 2. After that went to a workshop for NP Wireless Net configuration as well as mapping of local sch drives in server. 2nd day was my IS Module, which is known as Interdisciplinary Studies which all NP student is require to take up aside from their courses module. Gonna have Sports & Wellness and CATS ( Creativity and Thinking Skill ) this semester. Went to LT 26 in the morning for SW briefing. Total of 6 sports to choose from. Took Soccer as my Sports. After that went to canteen 2 to have lunch and went for CATS lesson. The activity in CATS is interesting, mainly brain cracking. Once again, knew alot of new friends in CATS as it is a all mix class from various courses. Grouped with Lewis and Nicohlas in CATS for this semester group work. Colleted SW Goodies Bag after sch. 3rd day was purely assignment day. Gotta complete Assignment for Week 1 by Friday 5pm and hand via sch server. All assignment is MeL base, through internet, no paper will be given. Did alot of stuff for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Lesson were so relaxing and alot more freedom. I can do my work and plug-in my earpiece onto my notebook to listen to MP3. None of the lecturer will care as long as you don't affect the class and hand in assignment on time. Later in the afternoon, had a exhausting Library Amazing Race which was part of our assignment. Comb the whole Library getting answer and stuff. I think their main objective was to get us familiarize with the Library facilities etc. The Library was divided into 3 section. 1st storey - Lifestyle Library with bubble tea sold at $1, able to rent lastest movie and watch DVD, alot of computer available for usage and slacking. 2nd, 3rd, 4th is Academic Library which all the Discussion Room is situated at with alot of photocopying services available. During lesson time, whole class will always chat on MSN in a 20 ppl conversation. Whatever Ah Ma say, we will make fun of it in the conversation, damn funny. Today was a short day, went for 3 hrs of lesson and then proceeded to LT 26 for a Motivational Talk held by Director of Halogen Foundation that is form to build leaders etc. His talk was damn funny, humourous guy, who graduated frm NP back in 1997. Afterwhich, met Kwee and Alan at Atrium and took bus back to CWP. Kwee went to settle his notebook cover while I bought a T-Shirt and Hair Spray. Gotta complete assignment by today as tmr is the deadline, signing off here.
